How to store, in Tin or out of Tin

Is there any advantage to keeping them in the Tin while in the humidor, how about when out for daily transport?

The only gars I buy in tins are Opus X. If I plan to keep them around for a while and/or gift them, or sell them down the road, I leave them in the tin and shrink wrap. I also buy the occasional tin of mini's and leave them in that, just for protection. They get smoked up fairly quickly.

As far as keeping them in the humi, I dont like anything laying against my tobacco, except more tobacco... or cedar, of course. I wont put cigars against the shrink wrap plastic, nor allow the metal to touch my other smokes. I don't know what's in the paint on those tins, but Im pretty certain, whatever it is, I don't want it on my other cigars.

I'm pretty sure I didn't answer your question, but that's just what I do.
