Re: Help me understand why you would buy more than one brand

I love how amazingly complex cigars are. Sure, they are all tobacco-y in flavor, but the nuance of those flavors! I smoke new brands all the time looking for new notes to pick up on, and to find new ways to cherish the ones I have already discovered. Every now and then I may smoke a disappointing cigar, but I would never give up the hunt and retreat to the safety of just one make/model. The hunt by the way is not a search for the "perfect" cigar to smoke till I die, but to experience experience itself. The trying is its own goal and end as far as my enjoyment goes.

as a side note:
the only things I buy the same brand again and again are breakfast cereal, deodorant, and ballpoint pens. I did not find it necessary to make a brand list here, but anyone can pm me if interested.

Never give up your sources!

I think half the fun of this hobsession is finding diamonds in the rough. Of course you can't do that if you never try different things.

If you love Cohiba's that much I think you should only smoke them. One day you may want a change of flavour, then you can try something else.

My point being, if your enjoying something so much that it is 'sublime' then just keep going. Eg 'dont fix it if it isnt broken'.

then again...what if its like the Matrix, and the Cohiba's sublime is merely an illusion, the man is using to keep him down?

hahaha. I agree, just enjoy yourself!
