Re: Cheaper to buy online or in shop?
I enjoy hanging out at my local B&M, so I buy all my singles there.
Give them as much as my wallet allows me to. I also buy a lot at the devils site and its twin brother ci. Sometimes my B&M will match my online box price sometimes not. The best part of the internet is the great variety, If it werent for this site I would have never heard of the wonderful world of Taboo cigars. ![]()

Re: Cheaper to buy online or in shop?
Depends. I find rare higher calls cigars are cheaper in B&M's.
Costs around $25.00 online for an Opus X, and $30.00 for an Anejo. I bought both an Opus X and Anejo from my B&M for $25.00 TOTAL. Usually the lower class stuff, and I just mean your average good cigars, are a bit more expensive at local shops. But then again you don't have to pay for shipping. Boxes are usually cheaper online. |

Re: Cheaper to buy online or in shop?
I've been buying alot from CBid lately but I also check out my local B&M from time to time. Every so often I take the hour drive to visit Atlantic cigar, Famous, and CI Superstore. Same prices online but no shipping charges of course. I never leave CI with less than a dozen singles to try and oftentimes many more. The superstore is just awesome, I could hang out there for hours.

Re: Cheaper to buy online or in shop?
Lately, my B&M has had better prices and stock that several of the good online places. I am happy to spend my money at the B&M but I will certainly shop around.

Re: Cheaper to buy online or in shop?
I find it cheeper to buy almost all of my cigars online. However, when I am going to smoke with a friend, we will go to the local B&M just to support the owner and give him some buisness.
