Confused about Arganese blends

I'm seeing so many different blends in the Arganese line. The Dominican, Nicaraguan and Maduro lines all come in mild, medium and full and many are described as discontinued blends. Does anyone know if the blend that will replace these is on the market yet, and if so, what is it called? I've read good reviews on this line but can't decide if I should pull the trigger on some of the discounted original or wait for the new blend. Any recommendations?

From what I've heard, they are going out of business, and their factory is shut down. Buy what you can! I have a box of the Nicaraguan Presidente Churchills and they are good.

Pulled the trigger. Got the bundle of 30 Nicaraguan Presidente Churchills on monster for $39.95. At that price I couldn't resist .... now all I have to do is figure out how to squeeze 30 more big sticks into my humidor.

Andrew, I spoke with Gene Arganese and he assured me that they are not going out of business.

I will be with Gene at the IPCPR show in New Orleans and try the new blends. As far as recommendations go, I like the Nicaraguan Presidential Churchill. medium to full body with lots of flavor.

Re: Confused about Arganese blends

From what I know off the top of my head is that there was a lot of confusion on the original blends They had the Nicaraguan, Maduro, Connecticut, Cameroon. Then the had all the sizes in each of those Robusto, Churchill, etc. The names the had associated with the cigars were actually the strength...Ambassador=Mild, Chairman=Medium and Presidente=Full.

So you had a number of combos Arganese Maduro Chairman robusto or Arganese Nicaraguan Chairman Robusto. So there were so many combos.

Now I think its just Connecticut=Mild, Maduro=Medium and Nicaraguan=Full.

Good cigars....snag them up when you find a good deal.

Re: Confused about Arganese blends

Thanks for all the feedback. Now that I have some Nicaraguan Presidentes en route I have another question. Should I put some age on these first or are they smokeable off the truck?
