Curious on Price of latest buy

So stopped off at the local Beer distributor and Cigar shop. They actually have a decent humi room with a pretty good selection for a PA beer distributor. Well aside from free samples of Magic Hat, I picked up a RP sun grown toro, and a RP vintage 90 robusto. They were priced for about $5.98 a piece pre tax. From what I can tell it not too shabby of a price looking at sites and the reviews. Our puff.com reviews has the SG at about 6.70 MSRP and the V90 at 6.50. I can only find 5-packs online and they go for about 35.00. Did a little math ans seems like I'm getting a decent deal for retail. Famous has a 5-er for about 23.00 for 1990 comes out to 4.40 each.

what do you guys think for a retail price? Right on average? Low? high?

You got them for a good price. I pay $8-12 for the Sun Grown, and $10-15 for the V90 in Cali.

Yep, I'd agree .. a good price, especially from a B&M.

You should be able tp pick up both the RP vintage and Sungrowns at cigarbid.com for much less than 35.00 a five pack.... now it may cost you more in the long run once you get hooked on cbid.. but the plus side is you'll have plenty of smokes.....cheap.

Great prices and also, since you are in PA, I believe the tax is lower there too.

On another subject, my local B&M said the taxes in Montana were 75% and in Rhode Island, 150%!!

nor can you walk out of cbid with a case of beer to go with your sticks!


BTW I'm staying off cbid for a while, new house w/ new fridge and new carpet, plus the misses wants to repaint the entire place....

Your right though, no beer or walking out the door with a lit one in hand at cbid, although You could take a beer to the mailbox and light one up on the way back to the house, right off the truck, as they say

And most important keepin peace with the misses, all good resons to stay off cbid, and support the locals.

I picked up a RP sungrown corona for about 5.10 and a SLR robusto for 4.90 just yesterday at the local indian casino it seems like a good deal even though its about a half hour drive as every where here in town is way over priced.
