Don Pepin Garcia Blue question...

Hey guys, as the title states i have a fast question about the dpg blue label cigars. The problem is i keep seeing two different banded cigars on websites being refered to as the dpg blue. One of the bands in the classic shinny deep blue band, and the other is kinda a flat, light blue color.

Can anyone clarify which cigar is which? I hope someone knows what the heck i am talking about. LOL

Thanks guys,
---Joe

Re: Don Pepin Garcia Blue question...

The light blue is the old band and the other one is the new band. This changed about a year and a half to two years ago.

I beleive there was a thread about this in the Pepin Whore thread..

but it comes down to how fast he was putting out sticks and needing the bands faster and cheaper.

Re: Don Pepin Garcia Blue question...

I had this same question as well, I had two different types of bands on the Blue and the Black label I believe. I think they both look good in their own way. But I'd definately prefer the older ones anyway
