Favorite Budget Smokes On CBid

As the title says, what are your favorite budget smokes on Cigar Bid? Smoke-able/Enjoyable cigars only (no dog rockets).

To get things started, I'm a bit partial to La Vieja Habana by Drew Estate (Cameroon & Maduro).

Re: Favorite Budget Smokes On CBid

You just named one of mine as I started smoking them a couple months ago,,,another one is a few of the Rolando Reyes cigars,,,Pirates Gold ( age these at least 6 months for a really good smoke) Cienfuegos, Puros Indios. Since your tastes might be elsewhere,,,start buying some 5 paks to even see you like them,,,test the waters.

+1 on the La Vieja Habana and Indios Puros. I jus finished my first La Vieja Habana and plan to grab a box or two. Flor de Olivas are nice and inexpensive also.

Well I'm gonna have to go with El Mejor Emerald, Flor de Oliva, and 5 Vegas Gold. All of them are solid smokes, I usually hand these to the friends who are new to cigars or just mooching off me.

my favorite "cheap" cigar is the Slow Aged by Perdomo. Nice and smooth with great taste. usually pick them up for around 35 to 50/box

I really like the 5 Vegas Golds too, especially the Nuggets. I'm still trying to find other good ones that wont bankrupt me.

Pirate's Gold or anything by Indian Tabac. Flor de Oliva's are pretty good too. Also name brand seconds are a great way to smoke some good cigars on the cheap!

I have to add Nestor Miranda Box Pressed Torpedo Maduro, so far that is my best cheap find on Cbid.

+1 on the seconds

My best find on those are the RP Liga A-E seconds. Not a big fan of E, Indian Tabac, but everything else has been outstanding.

Re: Favorite Budget Smokes On CBid

Without a word of hesitation...I have been smoking cigars quite seriously for 5 years...tried many brands, blends and sizes...as we all have for sure...my number one budget smoke bar none ia the Camacho Havana H2 Robusto 4 1/2" x 50...boxes are available for as little as $110 (for 50--regular price approx. $160) so, approx., $2.25 each...45 minute cigar with great taste, draw and appearance (silky like an Avo)...medium...I would recommend thhis cigar to anyone and would doubt you have had a better cigar at that price point...! Watch for them on Monster or other and try them out...you will be pleasantly surprised!

Re: Favorite Budget Smokes On CBid

Nestor Reserve Connecticut, They usually go for about $1 per cigar. I won wheel of 50 for $49. They are the robustos. They are worth more than $1 pricetag. I'm not good at picking out all the flavors in a cigar, but on one occasion I swear it tasted just like those Coffee Nips (or Nibs) candies.
