Most likely the gaudiest box I have ever seen, but rather cool in and of itself. The cigars, a tasty maduro, were'nt bad either.

Love that!

I could care less about the box. It is all about the cigar for me.

No, it doesn't influence my purchase, but I do get giddy if a great cigar has a sexy box!

Re: Does the Box influence your purchase?

In the beginning the box was somewhat of a draw, but you don't smoke the box, so now I go strictly for the cigar.

Re: Does the Box influence your purchase?

With the few cigars that I've acctually bought, the look and smell of the cigar is what attracted me most.

Re: Does the Box influence your purchase?

Nice boxes are sweet!! But, if they're filled up with crappy cigars, I wouldn't care less if it had naked pics of Jessica Alba on the inside lid... OK, now I'm lying. I'd buy THAT just for the box, even if it was empty, LOL!

But, no, I don't factor that into my buying decisions. Maybe if it was a REALLY sweet box, I'd buy a whole box instead of just a few, but I'd have to like the cigars a lot anyway.

Re: Does the Box influence your purchase?

If I had the option of ordering cigars in bundles at a discount, I would take it. The box means nothing to me. I do appreciate a nice band though.

Re: Does the Box influence your purchase?

For me a nice box can influence a "Good Deal" new cigar purchase. Short of that I have learned to just buy cool box's. Keeps the wife happy with her box fetish and I can buy whatever for cigars.

Re: Does the Box influence your purchase?

Hehehe.... boxes used to do it for me but when i compare the price with a box and without i'd rather have the 5 extra sticks than the box... Sometimes if i realy want the box i can sometimes find the empty it at the B&M for a few bucks.

But if there is a gift pack with schwag i loose it and buy it.

Re: Does the Box influence your purchase?

On occasion it has. But not much. I once bot a box of Monte Afrique Library Edition robustos so that I can use the book looking box in the future as my dry box. Works great. Man o man, did those logs need a long long rest in my humi before they became civilized enough to smoke. About a year. But now they are tasty.

Only when I am smoking the box not the cigars.
