Sancho Panza Double Maduro question.

I've read some reviews on here and don't see this mentioned.

After smoking one, I noticed my fingers were turning a muddy orange/brown color.
Is this just excess oils, tar or one of the "painted wrappers" I've heard of?

I'm pretty sure that's a good thing, it means it was brimming with oil.

I have a five pack that has been sitting for about 4 months. The oil on these sticks make it look so tasty. It smells like a stick of 70% cocoa chocolate. I can't wait to smoke one, I think i'm going to wait for this spring to get to them.

So, how was this smoke?

Re: Sancho Panza Double Maduro question.

Hmmm, I'm afraid I don't have much to describe it. I can say it was very full bodied to me, sometimes it bordered on being too strong, but then it would mellow some.
Basically I'm on the fence with this one, I plan to buy a few more and give em a second shot though.

As a side note, I see you're from Massapequa, I grew up right next door in Farmingdale.

I have smoked a lot of these and have never experienced any of the color rubbing off on my fingers. These are very good smokes for the price. The major problem experienced is the wrappers tend to unravel especially at the head.

Being made by Padron, I seriously doubt that they would use cooked wrappers. I enjoy these cigars and have never experienced brown fingers.

Ok, thanks for the answers. I didn't know much about them, glad to have it clarified.

These are made my Padron? I thought the construction would be much better if thats the case. I bought a box of them and almost everyone had a problem with unravelling at the head. The cap is very poorly attached.
