Cohiba Maduro 5....Is this the real thing?

Hello everybody, i have a question.

I found this guy who supposedly gets real cubans out here in South Florida. I am the skeptic of all skeptics by the way, i am very careful about counterfeit products. So to make a long story short, he said he could get me anything i wanted. I asked him for these specifically, and he got them within a week of me asking. He claims he goes to Cuba and has one man he knows very well who also gets from there somehow ( i think they all say that ). Anyway, i met up with him today and i took pictures of the box so i could check to see if it is real.... I have links for three different pictures. They speak for themselves, do you think this is the real thing?? I did not buy it yet because i am not positive they are official. It has the seal, although it looks kind of dull, it also has the habanos strip in the upper right hand corner, it has the box date and factory code on the bottom, the habanos hologram, and the cuba hologram on the box as well. There is also some kind of stamp on the seal on the bottom of the box. What threw me off was that the box was cello wrapped. I thought this particular series only came in a box with an outer cardboard shell, not wrapped in a clear plastic. Any help would be greatly appreciated.... What do you guys think?

run away from this deal and don't even consider buying Habanos from this guy. What I quoted from you above says it all. You've done some research. Your gut says they're fake. Follow your instincts no matter what kind of deal the guy gives you.

If they're super cheap, it's too good to be true in this instance.

I snapped some quick shots for you just now. Disregard the handwriting on the image that shows the bottom of the box. That's my writing to keep the date record in event I discard the cardboard box.

hey joe, when i was in cuba i purchsed some real ones....they came like ji pics....cardboard box with date code....and only the hologram on the box, theres no stamps or anything on the box. they were on the cardboard box......hmmm you got a pic of the cigars inside??

definately fakes. The box codes are always on the cardboard box, not the actual box.

Maduros are never shrink wrapped.

The box code is not the correct stamp size. The letters and numbers are too thick

Just for future reference, the "Vendido en Cuba" stamp on the bottom translates to "These Are Fake" in English.

Thank you everybody for your input, i am glad i had some BOTL's to turn to for help when i need it! I will not be dealing with this guy anymore. I guess i am going to have to wait for the embargo to be lifted lol

Only buy from reputable dealers. My Secretos came in exactly as pictured by JCK.. cardboard box, not plastic wrap.
