Wrappers cracking?

might be a newbie suggestion since i dont know too much about this subject...

but if the wrapper is splitting or exploding due to being too dry would it be possible to take a spray bottle and apply a light fine mist to the outside of the cigars? not sure if that would work or help in anyway but if it doesnt cause any problems (like mold inside your humidor) then it may help?

also what if you were to say turn cigars so there not laying on one side? would that do anything? like flipping them over or rotating them if they are packed where the humidity will not spread evenly over the entire cigar/collection

edit: also if they explode there always useable as a fine pipe tobacco. smoke em anyways just in a pipe. nothing need to be wasted BTOL
