I received an email from vendor when I sent them an email on how to go about placing orders., etc. Here's the content of her email:

Dear Ronnie,

I am sorry for the misunderstanding.

Since it is a bulk purchase, we require at least 12 lighters to make one order and we ship each order (contains at least 12 lighters) to one address and not each lighter to one address.

Shipping cost to the US with EMS is US$15.50 per lighter, due to such high cost, it is impossible to ship each lighter individually with EMS.

If lighters must be shipped individually, we can only ship it with registered air post. It takes 10 to 14 days, about a week longer than with EMS. However, as for the price, we can only do it with $21 each, I am sorry for the price increase as we really need this extra dollar to subsidies on the postage.

Wish you could understand that we try our best to make a good deal for you, as we dont like you to waste your effort and disappoint your members.

If this arrangement is fine with you and your friends, please place anorder on line and send me an excel file with:

1. name
2. address
3. phone number
4. ordered color
5. qty

in five columns. We will arrange shipment base on this excel file. Please note that this purchase is paid with one credit card only.

The way I look at it, we have 3 options.

1. Get rid of the group buy altogether. I will return everyone's payment.

2. Use registered air post (very slow). Some of you paid 22 dollars so it should cover the increase in price. The rest who sent 20 or 21 dollars, if you don't mind sending me the dollar difference, I would really appreciate it. If not, I will pay for the difference.

3. Have the lighters delivered to me via EMS. I will then ship them to you individually using the cheapest possible way (no insurance, first class mail).

I'm open to suggestions. Whatever the group decides, that's what I'm gonna do.

It does not matter to me. I still think $21 is a good price either way. I do not mind shipping ya a $1 if that's what it takes. I'll send more than that if we have to have them shipped to you then us. I think you've done a helluva job so far. Just let me know.
