Punch Maduro question

Are the blends for the Rothschild Maduro and the Pita Maduro the same just a different length? I have been smoking the Rothschild and it just seems to end too quickly.

No they are not the same length. The Rothschild Maduro is a robusto weighing in at 4 1/2 x 50 whilst the Pitas Maduro is a Toro measuring 6 1/8 x 50.

Re: Punch Maduro question

Unfortunately, all i can find on the blends of these cigars is that they do use the same leaves (Conneticut broadleaf wrapper, Dom Rep-Nicaraguan-Honduran filler and a Conneticut binder) for both cigars. I couldnt find the proportions etc of the blends in each. Sorry about the misunderstanding before!

Re: Punch Maduro question

Buy a single of the stick in question and give her a taste test. I know for me sometimes the same blends but in different lengths and ring guage taste a little different to me. I know when I smoke a Brazilia in the GOL size and Lambada size they taste slightly different. Could be a psychological thing for me though.

Re: Punch Maduro question

From what I have been told, they are blended for consistency of taste. The exact leaf configuration may vary from size to size, or even within a size.

From my experience, Punch is one of the most consistent brands out there. If you like the Rothschild, you will probably like the Pita, particularly in Maduro. The small differences in flavor that I have found between sizes of regular line Punch cigars is within the band of differences that I have found within a size of regular line Punch cigars. When I purchase a Punch within one of the given lines, I select the cigar based on how long I have to smoke it.
