Cuban cigar question

Guys- I'm going to Niagara Falls for a little gambling and I'm looking to buy a nice Cuban smoke to try out since I can't get them here. ANy suggestions? I don't want to go to the local B & M there and have them sell me a junk stick that they are looking to unload. Just want to buy one or two to smoke while I'm up there. Thanks for your help in advance!

Ive been to Niagara 4 times to get cuban cigars. Go up to clifton hill and there will be several shops on the main drag. Try to find the shop that is near a subway. I think its middle eastern guys that run it. They have the best prices out of any of the shops up there. I usually pay 16 bucks for H. Upmann Coronas Majors. The prices are high but anywhere up there you will pay an arm and a leg.

When you cross over the boarder if you have them in your pocket make sure you tell the guys your not bringing anything back into the US. Try and look as normal as possible. Your better off to walk over the border instead of driving.

Excellent list. i might only add a Cuaba (distuinguidos or salomones are both interesting cigars), a Partagas Serie D no 4 or a Cohiba [maybe siglo VI], just so you can say youve smoked one and can make your own mind up about them!

the thing about buying cubans up near Niagara Falls is you will be paying a chit load. A cohiba single will run about 30 bucks as will the PSD4s.

I figured they would jack up he price, being so close to the border. I won't have any other choice except try to find he guy who will gouge me the least. Thanks for the advice fellow BOTL's!
