Mad for Maddies

I am a newb chimp to CS and serious cigar smoking in general. I am bananas for a great maduro, and was hoping that some of the FOG/BOTL could help me add to my collection of maddies in the humi. Greatly appreciated

Re: Mad for Maddies

I personally don't like maduros, but have smoked some good ones. here goes:

Padron 1964 anny maduro (best maduro ever, in my opinion)
Onyx reserve (had good and bad ones)
Indian Tabac Super Fuerte Maduro (the natural is my favorite everyday smoke)
Sancho Panza Double Maduro

Thats my list of maduros that I would actually buy. I haven't tried them all so there could be other ones lurking out there...

Add to that the K Hansotia Triple Ligero and the 5 Vegas A series. Both excellent cigars and well priced.

Consuegra at JR cigars. Best bang for the buck and a good large selection of maddies. Try the #84 Maduros.

Re: Mad for Maddies

CAO MX2 is a great Maddy
Diablo ( being discontinued )
5 Vegas Series A

The others I would suggest have already been by the other members.

Everyday Maddy @ a good price would be the Flor De Oliva Maddy, they go for 35$ a bundle of 25 at http://www.cigarsinternational.com

Re: Mad for Maddies

maduros - La Gloria Cubana Serie R #4, La Flor Dominicana Double Ligero Chisel, Indian Tabac Super Fuerte (also a good bargain smoke), Sancho Panza Double Maduro

Everyday smokes - Gran Habano Rothschilds-my preference being the #5 corojos, CAO Brazilia Piranhas, Sancho Panza Extra Fuerte, Torano 1916's and Signatures, Famous Smoke 3000's.

Try a few different searches on this, there a several good threads that have a lot of info in them along these lines. Happy smoking!

To fill the bill of a maddy and a quality everyday smoke, I like the Punch Rothschild in Maduro or Oscuro. 5-packs on CBid can be had for $9 - $12.
