Rocky Patel Connecticut Question

I tend to like medium cigars and I have heard good things about RP. My question is does anyone know anything about these? I would like to hear before I try them in case they are too mild. Thanks in advance for the help.

Too mild, I really don't think so, I have yet to find a Rocky Patel that can be called mild. These are a definate medium smoke, very flavorful and quite tasty. Although, if you compare them to say an Edge Maduro then they may be mild, but if your prefernce is to medium to full then you should not be disappointed.

Re: Rocky Patel Connecticut Question

Thanks to both of you. I find the edge lite a little lackluster in the flavor dept but the edge and the vintages tasty. This sounds like a good 'gar to have in the morning or daytime.

I smoke a lot of these. Mild to medium - most importantly it's a very smooth relaxing smoke in my opinion. I have never had a harsh one or even a single draw problem. I don't think you can go wrong here - even if you do like a stronger smoke.

Re: Rocky Patel Connecticut Question

I really like these. I would consider them to be more mild than medium, but, they are still quite flavorful and very, very smooth. One of my favorites.

Re: Rocky Patel Connecticut Question

I found it to be mild but I have yet to smoke a cigar that is too overpowering to me. I can handle JdN Antanos, Camacho Corojo and Coyolars with ease. However, on a nice sunny day off like today, I decided the RP Conn was just right. It was an extremely satisfying smoke. Very smooth with nice straightforward tobacco flavor, perfect raw and burn. Not much to complain about considering it cost me only $2.60 for a Churchill from cbid...

I think this will become my regular daytime smoke...
