I would suggest the AF Flor Finas in a natural (one of my favorites). I have yet to find anybody who dislikes this cigar and almost everybody speaks well of it. I also agree with those above who suggested the Padron x000s series, particularly the Maduros.

did anyone mention Torano Casa Torano. Very mild but pretty darn good. I like the IT SF H2000's too.

Re: ideas for cigar club
Macanudos are a great starters cigar, and they offer Classic, Gold (sweet, mild), Maduro (dark) and Robust (strong) varieties. This would at least help them narrow their tastes to a specfic type of cigar without a huge outlay of cash. Macanudos are pretty cheap online, and to be frank I have never had a bad Macanudo. They are a little mild for my tastes nowadays, but when I started smoking those were like gold (and I would have another now).

You know for the price, I would get them to try Helix in maduro or natural as it is mild and still has a pretty decent taste and they have that all-important easy draw.

Dang.....beat me to suggesting Helix To second that suggestion, the Helix are mild, inexpensive, and a good beginner cigar. If you start them on the stronger cigars, it may turn some of them off so as mentioned previously, the Macs, RyJ and Helix brands are what I would try. Just my ![]() |
