Climax beads question.

I used to have shotglasses or the littlest tupperware containers in my humidors to house Climax beads. I'd dribble distilled water in them when needed, and they'd do OK.

They took up room in my humidors so, a week ago, I got the bright idea to take my humidifying disks (the ones that attach to the top that are filled with plant foam) empty them out and fill them with Climax beads and hang them from the lid as usual instead.

However, the Climax instructions CLEARLY state that you're supposed to put them in an open-top container in the bottom of your humidor.

In hindsight, one would think that if those disks could be filled with those Climax beads and work, that someone would be selling them already.

Is this going to work?

they are being sold, its called "the Puck" by heartfelt industries


i use the puck and it works perfectly, i havent heard of the climax beads, but i assume they are the same thing as the heartfelt beads

Dunno - Heartfelt beads certainly work retrofitted in this fashion. I have no actual experience w/ climax beads.
