Non-ISOM CABANAS Y CARBAJAL

I was wondering if any fellow BOTL have had any experience with this brand. The Lonsdales that I am considering purchasing can be found on JR here:

https://www.jrcigar.com/index.cfm?pa...&itemcode=CALO

They're cheap (less than $2 a stick) and you can get either of the masterpiece collection samplers for free with any Cabanas Y Carbajal bundle purchase. The free samplers can be found here:

https://www.jrcigar.com/index.cfm?pa...&itemcode=MC10

https://www.jrcigar.com/index.cfm?pa...&itemcode=MC12

Hopefully someome on here can recommend them or recommend against them. If not, I might get some just so I can review them for anyone else that is wondering about them.

The keywords in this sentence being cheap, masterpiece, free, and bundle. Not to mention the fact that they're from JRs

Re: Non-ISOM CABANAS Y CARBAJAL

Cabana used to be a pretty decent cigar &, I thought, was exclusively a maduro at one time. I didn't know they had a nattie & this may indicate that the brand has been completely re-blended & might not be at all the same cigar.
The lonsdale size used to be to tightly rolled & suffered from a hard draw & bad burn.
Of course, things do change......

Yes, it is easy to assume that they're rockets based solely on that and I understand where carbonbased_al is coming from. What I'm wondering is if they're trying to get rid of them because the cigars are crap or because so many people immediately dismiss them.

After a bit of thought, I remember that Cabana had a Habana 2000 wrapper too......& was a pretty good smoke.

I think it's been re-blended.

Okay, so for $40.00 you get 23 Unknown Cigars and a box of 10 quality cigars (which just so happens sells for the same price). So if nothing else you get the Masterpiece Sampler and 23 Unknown cigars that you can pawn off on mooches.
