Please consider this nothing more than an IMHO thing (based on our climate/humidity)...

I'm kind of picky about the burn on my evening (after-dinner) cigar. For that reason, I remove my "intended victim" from the humi BEFORE dinner, and let it sit at ambient temperature/humidity for at least a couple of hours before stoking. This "seems" to allow the wrapper/binder/fillers to "equalize" as ambient conditions permeate them. And it "seems" to improve the burn.

Of course, this is just "theory"... And "theories are like belly-buttons."
