Cigar Questions This sub-forum is where users get to ask questions specifically relating to cigars. You can ask about your favorite brands, cigar storage techniques, or even where to find a good tobacco retailer. All levels of smoke are discussed here, from the stogie to the Churchill. digital hygrometer won't go above 54%

Weird, since my regular hygrometer (that doesn't fit in my little humidor) said that it was at 72%. Did I get a dud or something?

There is a chance your analog reads +18% and the humidity is actually close to 54%. Do a salt test on the digital and report back on the results.
