I have smoked them. I found them to be OK. I will not buy them again at any price.

Doesn't mean that the cigars are no good. Just that I don't like them. I found them to be milder and less full bodied than I enjoy.

You're thinking of the Crown series...very expensive, upwards of $33 a stick. You get up around that price, a cigar needs to come with a bottle of Jack Daniels and a hooker.

The Scepters are nice, beautiful smokes - if you can appreciate them for what they are, which is beautifully-made, mild cigars of an exceptional quality. Same as with any Zino smoke, it's going to be mild, but special. You just have to be able to like mild.

Re: Zino Platinum Scepter Chubby ~ Tubos

I had one that was gifted me not long ago. I thought it was a very unique cigar...initially. The first draw was something I had never tasted before with a cigar...a sweet&sour combo taste over my tongue. I thought this is going to be a FINE cigar. That particular taste faded quickly and I was left with a pretty good cigar....but at those prices, probably never again. I'm glad I had an opportunity to sample one.

I wouldn't pay that much for something out of the D.R.

But that's just me.

I enjoy the Chubby when I'm in the mood for a light smoke. Also, it lights easily and doesn't take too long to smoke. Very consistent in quality, as well.

Tried one & thought it loose (very soft roll) & flavorless. Won't be buying them again.... not for that price.
