Hmm excessive heat causing sensitivity to nicotene?

I was sittin in my hot tub tonight smoking a Padron londres maddy, and this shouldn't be a cigar that gets the best of me. I had a big steak dinner tonight so my stomach was plenty full, and this wasn't even a strong smoke. But when I got down to the last two inches, I got that "feeling" again (http://www.clubstogie.com/vb/showthread.php?t=43116) so I put it out. I raised my body out of the water and set on the ledge and stared straight. Within 30 seconds, the feeling had completely disappeared. I sat there for another minute and went back in. The feeling returned again in about the same time it had left and I just decided to get out. So, what I am theorerizing (sp?) is that when your body heat is increased to a higher level, it increases it's sensitivity to nicotene. What do you guys think?

I would agree with that. In Texas we get our share of hot summer days and I've noticed I am much more sensitive to nicotine on a 100+ degree day than I am in the fall or winter.

You could've just been dehydrated from sitting in that hot tub, kinda like sitting in a sauna, even if you have moisture in the air or in this case water around you, you'll still sweat if your body temp is higher than normal.

Just a theory I came up with *shrugs*

DRINK WATER!
