My wife saw this post and she told me that when she was picking out my birthday cigars at the B&M, she was the only one pronouncing the Brand names correctly. She picked up some La Aurora Cien Anos, Illusione, Cabiguans and Padillas's.

This thread reminds me of the random guy I quote in my sig. I was out front of a bar having a cigar and this guy came out to try and mooch a cigar off me, and proceeded to butcher the pronunciation of everything while we talked. I'm relatively conversational in Spanish so I kept correcting him (correcting drunk people is fun), then he offered up his excuse below...

Opus X - Is that 'Opus Ex' or 'Opus Equis'?
Punch - I heard this is pronounced in the Espaņol as well... 'poonch'?
