Cigar King Seleccion -- UPDATE La Luna's

Hi CS,

I searched but could find info on above cigars. Granted I have one sitting in front of me, waiting to be smoked, but I thought I'd ask you gents if you've heard of them. I got them in a trade.

Delicious smell of cocoa. Oh well, I let you guys know how they turn out.

Re: Cigar King Seleccion

Sorry, I haven't heard of them.... I don't even see a 'Seleccion' cigar listed on the CK web site. I'm guessing from the cocoa smell it is a maduro? I did see an Aged Reserve Maduro & a World Blend Maduro listed though... is it either of these?

Re: Cigar King Seleccion

Here's the band. The color of the wrapper is lighter than a maduro, but darker than, like a HdM excali, or an Rocky Patel edge nattie.

I suppose I'll ask the guy I traded with. Although that board is notorious for bad connections and time outs.

I should probably smoke it too

I hope you enjoy it. I couldn't smoke more than 1/2 an inch of the La Luna I had... tasted like piss and ash. Then again it may have just been a bum stick.

AHH, of course! I've been eye these guys for a while. No wonder I thought the band looked familliar. I almost bought a bundle, but I wanted to try a few first. How lucky is that. Got a few on a blind trade, now I can try 'em.

heard good things too.

Supposedly there's a whole thing about these cigars that the newer ones are crap, the older ones are good. Same with Holt's Buena Consechas. New ones suck, old one's dont.

I'll know in a few.
