Wet 50 Cab!

I had an empty 50 cedar cab out on my desk and accidentally tipped a glass of water (NOT distilled) right next to it. Basically, it got pretty wet. Some water got into the inside of the cab and all over one side as well as the bottom.

I had rooted this cab out of the closet to fill with some singles and thank god I hadnt filled it yet. If I let it dry overnight and in a sunny spot tomorrow is there any reason I cant use it once it drys.

Maybe this is a dumb question? Any insight greatly appreciated!

Re: Wet 50 Cab!

It should be fine once all the water evaporates. Not a big deal....

Re: Wet 50 Cab!

It'll most likely be dry, there might be a water stain, a cedar box I'm using has a water stain on it, not a big deal or one at all.

Like my Mother says "Its only water".

It will be fine once it dries out. Just make sure it is dry before you use it again.

Re: Wet 50 Cab!

I'd leave it out to dry for a couple extra days if I were you.
Imagine thinking everything was fine only to find mould in a few weeks, covering the bottom of the inside of the bax and possibly the first row of smokes
Better safe than sorry.
