Habano wrapper?
I just finished off a 601 Habano (Red Label) and got to wondering... what exactly is a "Habano wrapper?" Is this just another term for cuban-seed? Or is it an actual variety, like H2000 or criollo or corojo, etc.
Or is it just advertising/marketing hooey? (I get a little suspicious any time the word "cuban" or "habana" comes up in association with NCs.) Other cigars with this type of wrapper, or advertised as such: Don Lino Africa Oliva Serie O Padilla Habano Gran Habano #3 Felipe Gregorio Power ![]()

Re: Habano wrapper?
...pretty much sums it up.
But can be the seed as well, which means squat. What also matters is the soil, temp...etc, ...and I'm convinced, the sweat of the Cuban farmers. ![]()
