I agree that this is a nice cigar... The one I tried (Belicoso) had a very thin wrapper though & it was just about in tatters by the time I smoked it down to the band. Might have had something to do with the dryness here in CO... Give them a try if you haven't already!

Re: Camaroon Suggestions Needed

But the CA boards ARE fiull of snobs who:

1. Think that only Cuban ciagrs are the only cigars worth the money and that everything else sucks.

2. Think they know ewverything about cigars, tobacco and the industry. If they did they would working in the industry.

Sorry, but this is SO true. Those boards are truly horrible. Many (not all mind you) of the posters are mean spirited, name-calling cigar-ego maniacs. God forbid you ever disagree with them or try to raise an issue, especially a negative about that so-called "cigar" magazine, CA. The name calling starts almost immediately. Not a place that I like to hang out at.

Every board that I am involved with, EXCEPT the CA board, is a friendly place where guys can hang out, chat it up about sticks and share with each other; VERY similar to a HERF or your favorite smoke shop. CA is totally different.

I know alot of people aren't big fans of CAO. With some of their cigars, I might agree. But on of my staples is the La'Anniversaire Cameroon. This is one CAO that will not disapoint. Give it a try..........

Typical of cameroon wrappers. They are naturally very thin and if smoked in dry conditions, the wrappers tend to do what yours did.

I am smoking a Torano 1916 right now and it's fantastic. I had never had one of these before and I am glad that I did.
