La Vieja Habana Cigars

Hi everyone, I'm new around here and relatively new to smoking cigars (I've been smoking for around a year now). I'm a relatively broke college student who doesn't have a lot of money to spend on cigars so I was hoping I could get some advise from you guys. A friend recommended I try La Vieja Habana cigars so I placed an order on an online site that would let me customize a sample pack to include one of each of the four wrappers that they come in. I was wonder what everyone here thinks about LVH's and if you guys could recommend some other not so expensive cigars for me to try.

I like the LVH's. For the price you get a nice smoke. Here's a good place to start for some inexpensive smokes.....

Lots of good info on a whole ton of affordable sticks.

You can't go wrong with LVH, especially the corojos.

Hmmmm.....that sounds good. Think I'll have one right now.

I love the LVH line for the price. These boxes can be had for about $30 if you look around. The corojos and maduros are the best in my opinion.

Re: La Vieja Habana Cigars

I did a review on these after buying a box of the maduro corona size sight unseen also, which I usually would not do, but given the price of these things, how could I not, I paid 26 bucks for the box of 20 from TNTcigars.com Great, mild/medium maduro smoke.

Re: La Vieja Habana Cigars

I like the maduros at least as much if not more than the original corojos, which are damn fine cigars, especially given the price they can be had for.

I think this line of cigars is a fantastic opportunity to see what each of the four wrapper types brings to the same blend.

Another thumbs up for the LVH. I buy a couple of boxes when they get put on sale for under $30. For the price it's a good smoke.

Re: La Vieja Habana Cigars

The LVH Leather Patch always has a place in my humi! These are pretty pricey if you pay retail, but you can always find them cheap on Cigarbid.com.

I usually get a 5 pack for $5-7 each month or so.
