Nat Sherman or Manhattan B&M?

Hey you Apes!

My better half is in NYC and wants to bring me back some stogies....if it is not too far out of her way. SHe says she could find Nat Sherman, if she does what should I get? Never heard of that brand.

ALso can someone point me at a great B&M in the southern end of Manhattan?

If this works right I will get good cigars brought to me by the woman I love...please help a brother out.

Davidoff and Barclay Rex are IMHO the best in the city.

If she is anywhere in Manhattan she can get to pretty much all the good tobacco shops easily and quickly via the Subway. If you give me the address shes staying at I can give you detailed directions.

As someone said before, Davidoff and Barclay Rex are good. I'd add De La Concha as another nice shop (I believe they were recently acquired by Davidoff, could be wrong about that) as well as O.K. Cigars. Barclay Rex and O.K. Cigars are or have stores in lower Manhattan.

Nat Sherman is a nice place to visit but they don't have a huge selection.

Hiya. As mentioned, there is a Barclay Rex downtown somewhere near the Wall St. area I think. Some of the others are in midtown manhattan. Nat Sherman is on 42nd and 5th. J&R a few blocks north. Davidoffs, De La Concha in the 50s. Nat Sherman has some nice accessories but haven't had one of their cigars.

De La Concha is better than Davidoff, J&R and Nat Sherman IMO. They were acquired by Davidoff late last year, but it's still all the same guys working there, very knowledgable and helpful. I've not been to Barclay Rex so I can't comment on them.

De la Conchas selection sucks though. Davidoff and Barclay Rex have the best selection. I love Nat Shermans, place bleeds atmosphere.

Next time try using the search feature. NYC shops have been covered many different times.
