I am very curious.
I have not smoked one yet and have heard good and bad.
Which one should be the first one that I smoke?
Any suggestions.
I like the looks of them and prefer the Perfecto size..

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just skip over them, not that good in my opinion. But if you must the only one that I somewhat like is the Regent.

But of all that I've had the Double Maduro was good.

I've still got a few different varieties to try. But I'm less-than-sold on these.

The only ones I would ever spend another dollar on are the Expedition and Connecticut Reserve. And that's about how much I would spend on them. A dollar.

Doble Maduro is a great smoke if you have the patience to let it rest/age for about 3-6 months.
The regent is a decent smoke.
The Legend Double Perfecto is a nice chocolate bomb.

I enjoy in order of preference, The Legend, the regent, doble Maduro....

I have had to many burn issues with the perfectos and have tried to stay away from them, now preferring the Toro's and Torpedos.

These can be picked up on Cbid at a great savings over MSRP, which is too high in my opinion, so give em' a shot. If there not for you there are plenty folks around here that would probably be happy to smoke them... bomb trade etc....

Agreed on the MSRP, I wouldn't pay anywhere near the asking price for any of the Gurkhas I've had. Also agreed on the Legends, they're the best Gurkhas I've had.

Stay away from the Boer!! But the Legend and the Grand Age were pretty decent.

I recommend the master select perfecto. They're nice medium bodied smokes with a lot of flavour and character. They're reasonably priced on cbid too which makes it even better.

it seems like there are a million different Ghurkas out there.. IMHO, skip over all of them.. Some can get pretty expensive, but as in most smokes with a poplar name, you are not paying for the cigar, you are paying for the label..
