That is a great brewery. Pennsylvania full of awesome brewerys like Yuengling Brewery, Victory, and my favorite Weyerbacher. Their Insanity is an incredible imperial stout aged in bourbon barrels. Very good beer with a maduro!

Had a Victory Hop Devil with a RyJ Maduro Reserve. The over the top hops did a nice job balancing the srtong RyJ.

I buy Victory Prima Pils a lot in the summer and Hopdevil, Golden Monkey, & Stormking - love them all. I emailed and asked about the hopping of the Pils, assuming I would get no reply, and the President emailed me back and let me know how they got the hop intensity. I was impressed, great company.

magnum 46 with a tall glass of Heresy which is weyerbacher's Old heathen stout aged in Jack Daniels barrels only is available in 22 oz. bottles It happened to get a bronze medal this year, I think @ the world beer festival. I'm close 40 min. so pop in from time to time. I'm sorry about the correction but wouldn't want someone looking for the wrong stuff.

I seldom pair up cigars with beer (I'm more into coffee or rum), but I remember a rather nice combo from last fall.

ERDM Robusto Oscuro and a Youngs Double Chocolate Stout.

Worth trying of you like chocolate!

The Youngs actually has chocolate in it... a little too much in my estimation. On the other hand Brooklyn Brewery's Chocolate Stout, available only seasonally from around October to March gets it chocolately flavor strictly from the dark malt and is much tastier. Hard to find, but well worth it. Frank B

Sam Smiths Nut Brown Ale with any Habanos is nice.....Makers Mark goes well with habanos as well.

I have been trying to get my hands on some of that double chocolate stout.....but the liquor store that carries it has been out. I think I will give them a call and see if they've recieved a shipment.

Re: What combo of beer and cigars do you choose?

I suppose I should reply to this more seriously since I frequently drink beer while I smoke. Lately I have been layering beer like a mad scientist. I found a nifty widget called a "brutul" and it makes layering much easier than Guiness spoons. I have been using Young's Oatmeal Stout a lot recently (last 16 cans anyway ) and have been favoring IPAs on the bottom. Dogfish Head 60 minute IPA below Young's Oatmeal Stout has probably been my favorite so far.
I am considering what stout will be light enough to try with a Hefeweisen come Summer (light as in flavor and body, not light as in gravity which I will need to research if its even possible).

Hitime Wine *FINALLY* got in more of my Red Breast Irish Whiskey, and I added bottles of Evan Williams Single Barrel and Elijah Craig Bourbon to the order, so I will probably be drinking some form of whisk(e)y with my cigars more frequently than beer for a while. Love that Red Breast!
