Sigh... Another Vice!

Well, a generous BOTL offered to send me some primo coffee, in bean format. So I went out and got a grinder (yes a cheap one for now) and picked up a small sample of Kenyan coffee from Starbucks (probably another bad choice) to give it a try. In all honesty the coffee was pretty amazing, no sharpness, very smooth tasting! All suggestions welcome! My fav cigars are

IT Maduro
Sancho Panza DM & EF
Oliva Serie G Special G

and things like that! Welcoming all pairing suggestions!!

KenyanAA can run on to the rather acidic side but is a flavorful coffee when roasted correctly and ground/brewed fresh. It is not impossible for Starbucks to deliver a good bag of Kenyan ( ) and, if you liked it, then they must have done their job.

If you are a maduro man, and it looks like you are, you may also enjoy Sumatra Mandheling and Costa Rican Tarrazu. You might also find there are coffee roasters (buzzing about right here in this very forum) that can deliver you something better on their worst day than the billion dollar $tarbux empire can muster on their best. Maybe. Just guessing.

I don't doubt that you are right! I think I will get some Sumatra!

Re: Sigh... Another Vice!

I can vouch for the Sumatra (Starbucks) quite a flavorable coffee!
