My New Coffe Bar Arrives Tomorrow

I cashed in my piggy bank for an Amazon GIft Card and applied it towards a new Espresso Machine and Grinder. I went with a Gaggia Coffee, Gaggia MDF Grinder and the base. It is basically this set up, but the sides of the machine are White:



The White model was $70 cheaper and will probably look better in my kitchen. I had though about spending more, but for a one person household, this should work nicely. So hopefully this weekend I will be brewing some kick butt shots!!!

Grind fine.
Choke the bastich's pump nearly out.
Aim for a maximum shot of 1.25-oz in 25 seconds.
Learn how to SURF the machine, which is a whole nuther thing.

The machine was $240 and grinder $200. Amazon has a few good deals onm Gaggia Machines at the moment. These are going for $170. I now the Espresso has pretty much she same insides ad my Coffee and a cool Retro Look:

Then come on over, I have a squirrel problem. The little bastards broke my bird feeder.

Everything came today. Did not have the chance to use it yet, but it machine is nice and heavy and solid. Much better than the Hamilton Beach which is going back to the Big K-This weekend.

The Coffee is heavy with a Metal Frame. It just feels solid all the way around. The MDF seems to get good reviews. From what I read, the biggest complaint about it was the Doser and and the lack of adjustments on the course end. Well, my $30 Capresso works fine for French Press and Drip, so I got that covered.

I will see how my shots are tomorrow!!!
