Norman, thanks for the package with coffee, great cigar and t-shirt.

You don't skimp on the t-shirts bro. They are top notch. I love the t-shirt; very comfortable and roomy! Now some shameless promotion:

I look like kind of a fool in this picture, so I'm not sure if this promotes Norman's company or not.

Not at all Tristan - I think it's great

But someone on this board will chop it to make you look like a fool shortly...I have no doubt.

It never fails, no doubts here either! See the look on my face? That's look I get when smoking Dunhill 965 that's got 5 years on it. One of my friends gave me some and it's so good I might have to go rob his house

Some crowd... wild monkeys. And it looks like Quint might be coming along to play with us. I see the coffee forum stuff and the pipe forum stuff intermingling as nicely as Johnny Knoxville and irreparable brain damage. 2008 should be a hell of a year between all the cigars, custom-wired SCCOs, Behmors, Genes, poppers, grinders, water boilers, mokapots, pipe smoke in your eyes and a few pounds of Unclebeanz Kimel A and Yirg.

I predict no less than that one electrical fire and at least two minor steam burns for Jan-Dec 2008. Check with your insurance agents, everyone!

1st off, what's a Yirg?

2nd, now that Syekick has gone corporate, the whole "watching and laughing from a safe distance" factor has gone waaaay down

You have a keen eye and the memory of an elephant.

Syekick. I woulda had him down for a 2nd degree burn except for that going corporate thing. He probably wears a seatbelt in the car and wears safety glasses using the bench grinder. The 2008 loss of comic relief potential from Sy is staggering. I was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO looking forward to getting him a blowtorch, some dynamite, 20-lbs of vietnamese robusta and a 55-gal. drum for his next birthday. Ho hum.

I got a smoldering fire when CR beans fell through the grid and sat on the bottom of the Behmor on Jan 4th. That counts for me! I might as well plug back in my butchered SCCO and get the electrical sparks flying too!

Note the little "fire" I already spoke of above. Shoot, I just have a more expensive way to burn down the house. It needs MORE POWER!
Otherwise:
I was sorta thinking of the whole outdoor turkey fryer thing. Deep fried Full City + High propane flame, gallons of flaming peanut oil, and a bamboo strainer to keep me active. Add a half bottle of Uncle Jack and this idea sounds like a keeper. I'll make sure my two firefighter neighbors are on hand for fire suppression and inital EMT burn response.

It's heaven compared to sitting in the garage where it's almost freezing! This milieu also offers the advantage of hot beverages staying hot longer!

ok - who cobbed Tristan's screen name and password?

whoever you are, you did a good impression until you used the word "milieu" in a sentence
