Thanks. It looks like my regular "posting" blend: 1/3 Folgers and 2/3 Photoshop. The Folgers is for body and the Photoshop gives it color and texture. It has no aroma.

More likely my house blend of last year:

30% Sumatran Mandheling
30% Mexican Chiapas
20% Nicaragua
20% Guatamala

The end of that Nic was the end of that blend. Snif.

That is all amazing looking espresso. I have got to get some better equipment. Why is the espresso especially reddish looking? I am not as knowledgable with espresso as I am with coffee.

Excellent Pics T.. and Mister Maduro.....OMG.. If it wasn't almost 10:30pm .. I would be brewing some up right now.

There is nothing better than the taste and feel of a great Pull of expresso.

Fresh roasted coffee will make the crema (foam) really pile up and surge, just like Guinness. Different beans or blends make colors anywhere from light brown to a dark redwood-y color. FWIW, you can get a lot of good cigars for the cost of a roaster, grinder and espr'o machine but the cigars don't seem to stay around as long as the espresso gear.

C'mon...

Re: (Coffee) Pic of the Day

Okay, I thought I'd try something new today with this Beanz blend. This stuff is SO smooth - almost like a Chocolate Silk Pie. I thought I'd go against what I always do and try a 'milk drink'.

She sure is purdy. . .

Mmmmmm

In the cup.

The finished product (I can count on one had the number of times I've attempted this). Not too bad, eh?

The Beanz esprsso blend makes ONE HELL OF A GREAT Cappuccino.

I'm getting lonely here. . .

Re: (Coffee) Pic of the Day

It blonded on me a little early, I'd guess a slight bit more than 1oz each shot. I actually added some (tiny bit) of Splenda to one and it was TOO sweet. The other was PERFECT.

Re: (Coffee) Pic of the Day

my pictures are nowt compared to yours, SuperT, but this will, along with my 'my first roast' thread, where I will continue to update my journey into home roasting, hopefully serve some help for newbie coffee roasters, or people looking into how fugging simple it really is.
