This is not it at all.

I must moo've on.

But that it was all so simple to issue the cc# and security code (and month/yr expiration) and buy a Behmor. Snif.

I thought this annoucement would be greeted with cries of anguish and pleas that I be staying in the company of (SCCO) roasters - and, maybe, some big fat farewell rg bumps - and all like that.

I am forced into this move by reactionary elements including the mod Leafhog and his new pawn, fellow-traveler and coffee-lackey, SilvrBck.

I'll depart the relative comfort and security of the barely 1-lb, 13-minute electric SCCO for the enhanced targeting capabilities and real firepower (if you'll pardon the expression) of a gas grill + rotisserie. Besides, this forum is long past-due for a participating BBQ-roaster. Somebody needs to lead the way. Complacency is the real enemy in all things, isn't it?

Time to up the ante, lads. 2-5 pounds, shorter roast dwell and improved temp response and control. I'm thinking 25 inch-pounds of torque will move my stainless steel perforated wastebasket (plus a few pounds of coffee) along at 20 rpm. See cat. page 996.
