Ive been in the market for an new grinder and have been trying to decide whether to get the saeco or the capresso infinity for 89.00 ...from what I can tell the Infinity is getting better reviews.

I currently am using the cuisinart 59.99 grinder and I cant stand the uneven grind and the noise anymore When the hopper is down the the last few beans the motor spins faster and turns the last beans to dust.

Someone must reconnoiter the Titan and then report back to HQs...

Re: saeco titan at costco?

PJK at the geek has this to say about the 2

Quote:
I think the Infinity will beat the Saeco. The Infinity has the burrs mounted at three points while the Saeco still uses the two point mount.

My sister in law has an Infinity which she uses with her Silvia. I can pull a decient shot on her setup but my Rocky sure makes it easier and better.

This is quite curious, I was considering the Infinity Conical Burr Grinder [Model 565.05] what with it's "Commercial Grade, Solid Conical Steel Burrs w/Advanced Cutting Design for High Precision Grinding" and Cleaning brush and measuring scoop included.

My friend EvanS tells me I can get it for $10 less here
http://www.1stincoffee.com/capresso-burr-grinder.htm with no shipping charges. That would be Model 560.

That's a great buy and probably a better value than the costco model.
