Re: Whats In Your Mill Today?
Shit bro, don't have the time, money, patience, or inclination to try that out when I can get perfectly awesome fresh roasted stuff a day or so after its roasted (by someone else). I respect those that do, but I'm an on the go kind of guy so that quick shot of espresso before work in the morning and nice pull after I get home is all I have time for.

Re: Whats In Your Mill Today?
A rough nite. Lets just say that the water company will be here bright and early to replace my very old water service. So what coffee will cheer me up? Unclebeanz's Taina Blend...crisp, balanced, bold. Good for curing a tossing, turning nite of sleep. Be well.

Don't be posting your days brew over here without adding the horoscope or advice for better living. I think it's very unfair to hold that back.

Re: Whats In Your Mill Today?
Wow. Last day of February. This morning's brew is Unclebeanz Taina blend. Sweet and floral on the grind. French pressed, a splash of half and half with it. Crisp, full body, definitely benefiting from a sparkling Brazil Yellow Bourbon in the mix. Enjoy your day. Mine has started off right.
Stop and consider Before you choose to become angry, consider that your anger is not likely to achieve anything. Remind yourself that there is a more positive and productive response available to you. Before you allow an unexpected distraction to throw you off course, consider that you do have another choice. You can choose to move quickly beyond the distraction, and to stay focused on your original task. When you're tempted to feel resentful or sorry for yourself, stop and consider that such feelings will only intensify your difficulties. Choose instead to feel gratitude and to experience the real empowerment it can bring. If you just don't feel like making the effort, stop and reconsider. Make the most of each opportunity to create value before that opportunity slips away. When it seems that nothing is going your way, consider that in every defeat there are the seeds of triumph. Choose to find the positive aspects and to build on them. Before you give your time, energy and effort to negativity, stop and thoughtfully consider the implications of what you're about to do. Give yourself the chance to choose a more positive and enriching path. |

Today I ground up and brewed some Timor beans from Phoenix Coffee. They have a delicious, LONG, full aftertaste that I really enjoy. Yum!

Re: Whats In Your Mill Today?
I had a pod coffee (Melitta) in my hotel room. It wasn't awful and it took about 3-minutes to prepare. Whatever.

Guatamalan Hue Hue Tenengo (sp)
Very smooth and easy to drink. Low to medium acidity. Don't leave this one on the hot plate too long or it will get bitter quick. Pretty good stuff but it doesnt quite compare to a medium roast Kona, my personal fav. |

Re: Whats In Your Mill Today?
Today's brew is 2006 Brazil Cup of Excellence 1st place winner from the Esperanza Farm. Citrus, caramel and slight berry bomb. A fantastic cup to start the day with. Too bad all of it is in Tokyo and Taiwan. (Well, almost). Be well.
Intentions Whatever you intend with the whole of your being cannot help but come about in your life. Your authentic intentions form a magnificent pathway upon which are countless opportunities to discover and create richness and fulfillment. Relax your mind and get beyond the noise of worries, frustrations, strife and conflict. In that powerful, peaceful place you can connect to the pure energy of your most sincere intentions. Intentions are not mere wishes for things that might seem desirable only in the limited context of the moment. Truly powerful intentions come from deep within your most profound and sincere sense of purpose. Look at life not from a perspective of fear, for fear will drain all the energy from your intentions. Look at life from a perspective of love. Continually live in gratitude for what is, and you give real power to your intentions for what can be. Give your best to each moment, and your intentions benefit fully from your efforts. Align your intentions with your most deeply held values and purpose. And those intentions will surely become real. |
