Homeroasted Nic from the Mukka Express. Not bad - wrong bean. I think this thing cries for honest espresso blend.

Re: Whats In Your Mill Today?
Started with a Starbucks Grande Triple Cappa, extra hot then came home and did a shot of my Brazilian Santos. Followed that with a Santos Double Cappa. Six shots by 9:15am and I can FEEL my heart pounding!

Yemen Mohka Matari - Smooth, berry, dense, delish. Enjoy yer Tuesday, folks!
Rediscover Some of the greatest treasures in your life may be things you set aside long ago. Often it pays to go back and take a look. A book you read years ago may now hold much more meaning. A friend from whom you once grew apart may now have much more in common with you. There is a reason why people, places, things and events come into your life. Be careful that you're not too quick to discard them. The things that interested you in your youth still have a message for you today. They can tell you about who you truly are. Just because something is old and familiar, does not mean it is irrelevant. Values, passions and purposes grow more robust with time and experience. You've arrived at this moment carrying a lifetime of valuable treasures. Now is your opportunity to see those treasures in a whole new light.

Nic homeroast in the Gevalia dripper (time is tight this morning). Not bad at all. A pound of espresso blend is resting. Waiting.

Re: Whats In Your Mill Today?
Shot of Brazilian Santos, then a Santos double cappa.
Just mixed some Harrar in with the remainder of the Santos for a 50-50 blend. Should be interesting. . . -T |

Re: Whats In Your Mill Today?
Flat White - Kid O again... I think I am atarting to get the hang of this blend - also starting to get a little better at timing my routine:
1. Start Grinder 2. Pull cooling flush, 3. Run to fridge, grab steaming pitcher and milk(observe for end of 'water dance' starting counting to 12), 4. Fill steaming pitcher, stop cooling flush(reached 12), 5. Turn Off Grinder, dose out the coffee into PF 6. Load PF into machine 7. Drain Steam Wand 8. Start Shot 9. Start Steaming Milk 10. Stop Shot 11. Complete Steaming Milk 12. Pour and Enjoy!!! about 2-3 Minutes Beginning to End now the post-shot stuff 1. Knock out puck(still using wooden spoon against the side of the sink) 2. Rinse PF 3. Pull 2 Blind Shots 4. Rinse Steaming Pitcher(leave about 2" water in bottom when done) 5. Run Steam Wand in Steaming pitcher, wipe down wand 6. Rinse Steaming Pitcher Again - store in fridge 7. Brush excess coffee grounds from doser and chute(little art brush - not my finger!) 8. Brush off countertop(I use a 4" Paintbrush) 9. Drain Drip tray(is it really a 'drip' tray - it is more of a catch basin - and I fill that sucker up) 10. Check Water Level in Reservoir(I am about 'this' close to doing a 'direct connect' conversion). 11. Run Group again(my grouphead brush arrives tomorrow - then I will brush it too) 12. Turn Off Machina Phew - two 12 Step Dances!

Re: Whats In Your Mill Today?
2 more double shots of the Harrar/Santos blend. Very good. First pulled with nuts galore and a subtle fruity sweetness. Second (at a higher temp) was less fruited, more cholocate and nuts.

Unclebeanz Negrita Blend. Caramel, cocoa tightly weaved into a single cup. I haven't had Negrita in a while, but I roasted an extra batch this weekend to become re-acquainted with deliciousness. Be well.
Practice patience People who cause you problems also give you something of real and lasting positive value. They provide you with the opportunity to practice and build your patience. Patience is a profoundly powerful and useful thing to have. It can bring real value into your life in almost any situation. With patience, you can achieve a thousand times more than what you could achieve without it. With patience, you can listen, learn, work and prosper instead of lashing out at every frustration. Practice patience, and you avoid costly careless mistakes. Live with patience, and you have the persistence to create great things. Be truly thankful for each opportunity you receive to strengthen your patience. For it will surely bring new richness to your life.
