A 50/50 blend of Timor and Sumatra. Roasted to the start of second crack. Seems to do well in the mokapot and french press too.

This morning I milled some fine Bolivian Fair Trade coffee I picked up at Ten Thousand Villages yesterday. It probably isn't the freshest roast, but man, that stuff is tastey with a nice cigar!!

This morning's cup is a private offering of Ethiopian Hagare Mariam, which I roasted to city. Intense fruit and floral hits, very well balanced. Really good mouth feel too. It could be one of the newer coffees we're bringing in this year. It is an exciting time right now, new crops coming in. Stay tuned. The container ships are approaching port.

Here's thier review:

Pure, refreshing coffee. Sweetly acidy and honey-toned in the aroma, with floral and coffee fruit (tart cherry) notes. In the cup softly acidy, delicate in mouthfeel, crisp but very sweet in structure, with continued notes of tart coffee cherry, honey and flowers, together with a slight, deepening butterscotch-like pungency. In the finish the sweetness fades, but the fundamental flavor notes persist far into the long finish.
