This morning's cup is "Koratie" from the Sidamo region. An awesome cup. Blueberries here.

This morning's cup is graced by Taina, one of our blends. We roasted a bunch for a shop last week and ended up with some extra. How did that happen?

This year's Taina is graced with a fantastic yellow bourbon bean from Brazil that you homies are very familiar with. It adds just the right balance. Brazil coffees, once a red headed step child, have really made great strides. And Brazil coffee roasters can only roast Brazilian coffee. They plea to the government to let them get other coffees into the country cuz they're sick and tired of the same old same old.

Which coffee country do they ask for the most? Small prize for the person who gets it. No ringers.

Every once in a while I'll roast a batch that has some berry to it, but nothing like this one. The blueberries jumped out of the bag and knocked me over. Extremely expressive aroma, powerful stuff. The flavor is smooth and creamy but it hits with just the right snap in the back of the palate. A fantastic cup from Unclebeanz.com

Just picked some up.. It was still warm.. ahh.. Got the dark roast.. Kinda nutty.. smooth, medium to above medium acidity.. insane crema..
