SUPERIOR COFFEE! And the eagle looks so patriotic! Yet it's soooo bad. Two cups and yer running for dear life to the bathroom!
They say its 100% Columbian, but I bet much of it is Robusta bean instead of Arabica.

Dan are Robusta beans grown in S.A.? Think most of the really bad stuff comes from Asia, right?

Re: Whats In Your Mill Today?

At work, we take turns buying the beans... last week someone brought in a bag of Papa Nicholas - Hawaiian Islands blend. I must say, it was REALLY good for a grocery store brand. The aroma was to die for, and the taste was not bad at all.

No certainty from me, Matt. I associate robusta with the warmer climates and lower altitudes not typical of Columbian growing fields. But if it sez 100% COlumbian and not 100% arabica... well, who nose?

These guys support my taste buds belief in CR Tarrazu being the creme-de-la-creme and offer details on other things, but not a Columbian robusta crop.

I would rather have a cup of CR Taz than a barrel on anything Columbian - just my taste. I guess lots of people like that acid winey stuff.

Re: Whats In Your Mill Today?

Brazil Organic Cachoeira Yellow Bourbon from Sweet Marias. A very bold, rich, strong coffee. A great gift from CigarGal in the NST. Not acidic to my tastes. I roasted this batch to full city. This coffee is a favorite of my fiance's.

Indian Mysore Nuggets

I like to change things up in my regular rotation every once in a while with a bean like this.

Read Burman's description.
