coffee makes you live longer

On talk radio today on the way to work, they were mentioning a new medical study from Helsinki that says that coffee consumption reduces or eliminates the risk of liver cancer due to something or other in it that prevents T cells from bonding to somethingmagingy in your blood.

I will try to find a link that is more intelligent than my babble, but was happy to hear this as I lost my father to liver cancer when he was a very healthy 60 years of age.

Hell yeah.

That's why when a doctor once told me to give up coffee, (for my stomach) I got another doctor.

I'm sensing that chiefly in the trend of the last few years, of discovery that red wine, dark chocolate, dark berries and now coffee have positive health benefits, the common thread is tannins.

Just a layman's observation.

coffee rules for me as i like drinking a pot or two on the weekends while haveing a good smoke what a way to live. Eventually, all of us will die and we may as well live life to its fullest and enjoy some of the simple pleasures available to us all.

Down with the anti- smoker, coffee, liquor, treehugger types they all drive me nuts. Guess I will stay on my patio and have another cup of coffee and another fine fine cigar.

Yes I have know since the tender age of 12-13? When I first my first cup that I would die without it, therefore I always knew I'd live longer with it
