Best 4 cup coffee maker?
Well, I have been using a regular size pot forever, but I rarely drink coffee at the house, and I am normally the only one that drinks it. I think I need to get a smaller coffee pot. One that doesn't make so much frickin coffee that ends up going down the since. Plus, I hate the mess. Since I'm lazy, it would make more sense to get a one person pot. Anyone have an experience with something that would be up my alley?

I have not seen a good one yet that is a drip, I have seen them but they are you standard
 . My wife is the only one that make drip and she only make 12-oz of coffee in our 12 cupper, so just make less in yours. I use a moka pot for myself or just got a AeroPress from hardcz and I love them both, rich strong cups and personal use amounts. I can not say enough good things about the AeroPress, it truly is the simplest great cup of coffee I have ever made plus the bonus of the easiest clean up as well.

the more research I do, the more I might try to experiment with Instant.

Get on the AreoPress AeroPass list and give it a try. The AeroPress is a $29.95 foolproof widget that makes extraordinary coffee for one or two ((or three, maybe) in minutes. Cleanup is 10-seconds. Otherwise, I've had very good results with the Cuisinart 4-cup dripper in the distant past.
