Best el cheapo Drip Machine

Big time thread resurrection here.

I ended up getting the Gevalia deal. The pour-over method wasn't going to fly with GF.

I haven't tried the coffee yet...if it is any good I might not cancel the sub. It seems like you can order as frequently or infrequently as you want, so we'll see.

Anyway I've just brewed my 3rd pot with the machine and I am very, very happy with it. It brews nice and hot, but unlike the Bunn at the office my coffee doesn't taste burned.

Pour over filter and an electric kettle, plus thermos.
about 30 bucks total and absolutely great drip.

I have been doing pourover for a month or so now and I must admit I am getting pretty tired of it. Call me lazy but I like to sit bleary eyed on the couch until my coffee is brewed, now I have to pour, stir, put the kettle back on the stove while the water drips, pour, wait, etc. The coffee is good but I am becoming increasingly unwilling to go through the process. I want a technivorm but just can't justify the price.
