finally made my purchase

I guess I tend to obsess or overanalyze purchases. I have been in need of a new coffee maker for some time.

I first considered a technivorm.

Then a superautomatic.

Then decided to save money and do pourover. I am tired of that now.

Over Christmas we stayed with my sister's family, who own a superautomatic. I loved getting coffee at the push of a button. So that settled it...I was ready to buy one.

But then I reconsidered...it is a lot of money and it doesn't make excellent espresso nor coffee, really.

So I have decided to go with a Saeco Aroma espresso and Titan grinder. I may get flamed as neither both are relatively low end (though still hard on the wallet) but the good news I am getting them at Costco so if I have regrets, no problemo. I will see how practical it is for daily use and continue pourover if necessary, or get another brew central if I want automatic drip.

So hopefully this is the end of the saga...or who knows what I may be getting myself into.
