Where i can find list of best of the best

Lately i bought Jamaica blue mountain and i really liked it, where i can find a list of the best of the best.. would defiantly like to try some more!

The Cup of Excellence is the most esteemed award given out for top coffees. These awards come from a strict competition that selects the very best coffee produced in that country for that particular year. These winning coffees are chosen by a select group of national and international cuppers and are cupped at least five different times during the competition process. Only coffees that continuously score high enough are allowed to move forward in the competition. The final winners are awarded the prestigious Cup of Excellence® and sold to the highest bidder during an internet auction.

Tough question. I would distrust a "best of the best" list unless you were familiar with the person who came up with the list and you know your taste in coffee coincides.

If you don't mind paying a premium for top shelf beans (like good Blue Mountain -- some years have been pretty bad for JBM) you might want to try Panama Esmeralda Geisha. But only if you like very bright, highly acidic coffee. Very complex and highly aromatic. But very very bright. "Inexpensive" lots are going to run around $20.00 a lb. (going as high as $125.00!) Needless to say, this is a gourmet type of experience and not an everyday coffee.

I also like Ethiopian Idido Misty Valley, and for something on the darker side, Sumatra Lintong. Just some ideas for you. If you find a list of bests I'd be interested in seeing it as well.

I would too, too many variables involved. Only a vague general list of origins and their attributes would be somewhat worthwhile.

Sorry I didn't make my link more obvious, but there is a list which varies from year to year. The web site will explain the criteria for discerning the "list" and all of the countries and their farms that make the grade.

Cup of Excellence is where to go the newest and latest best of the best on yearly basis. If you're way in to it check out http://www.coffeegeek.com/ He can get very in-depth at times.

As for two of the very best I order from regularly, look in to http://www.intelligentsiacoffee.com/ It is wonderful comes fresh with roasted on dates and everything, awesome. Based out of Chicago, IL.

A most valid question, but no response as of yet. I'd say roast some bourbon varietals and work through them from country to country. I've yet to be displeased!
