Re: question for experts

personally i don't like any of their coffee's, it always tastes like they burnt the beans when they roasted them, but that's just me

Re: question for experts

Starbucks coffee, while better than most commercial coffee, has three things wrong with it. First it is over roasted, second it is over extracted and lastly, the roasted beans are not always at peak freshness (as a matter of fact, they can not even tell you the date a coffee was roasted).

The only reason their coffee tastes better than commercial (Folgers, Maxwell House...ad infinitum, ad nauseum) is that they do use arabica beans as opposed to the robusto species.

Re: question for experts

I may be in the minority here, but I've never had coffee from Starbucks that I liked.

Re: question for experts

Can't really answer the question because all of their coffee tastes the same......burnt, Charbucks style. They roast the coffee so far into second crack that all of the varietal taste of any bean is lost to me. Kenyan could be sumatran could be Jamaican blue mountain as far as my taste buds can tell.
