Re: Capresso Machines

Superautos have their fans, not including me - I'm more hands on. I know many make very good espresso, hands free.

I have a friend who owns a Capresso 1000 that makes passable brew. That was the low end entry machine back then.

I've had espresso from the Saeco Magic Deluxe - real good.

Seems like those in the know go with Jura.

Check carefully thru reviews at coffeegeek.com and select carefully; these superautos have better/worse records on repair, ease of cleaning, etc. Carefully consider the NEGATIVE reviews - people who just spent a grand on an auto tend to make a hasty review and invariably reinforce their buy psychology with a favorable report.

None make good coffee without a balanced fresh espresso roast.
